Pointillism

Here is my collection of pointillism paintings and drawings. I use mostly acrylic paint, but also used sharpie markers in the past. Last fall I won an honourable mention at the Focus Art Jurried Show on my pointillism painting “The Blue Waters of April” I plan on doing more pointillism paintings. They take an average of 20 hours. The biggest challenge of this type of painting is mixing the colours that make up a colour for example in a blue sky you might have blue, magenta, cyan, aqua, grey etc and all these colours blend together in the eye to create the colour.  Please feel free to comment on my work and critique it.
